Pemilihan Putri Indonesia Kalimantan

Hi readers :)

On last Saturday, 10/09/2011 Balikpapan held Pemilihan Putri Indonesia (PPI) Kalimantan region 2011. Lucky I have opportunity to attend to this event because it was held by Putri Indonesia Foundation in cooperation with Kaltim Post Group, where my father worked at. Located at Le Grandeur Hotel, there are 18 finalists from three provinces. There are 10 girls from East Kalimantan , 5 girls from Middle Kalimantan and 3 girls from South Kalimantan. West Kalimantan organized this event by themselve because this is the farthest among others. This event was broadcast live on BTV, a local television station, and possibly will be broadcast by Indosiar, a national television station, too (because I was sitting next to Indosiar crew who were busy recording).

Being excited with hijab after small share about my experience when wore it for 1st time (I found this hastag on @naliarifika twitter and interest to did it, haha). And wanna share you the latest Mix and her hijab styles.

1. Mix going to school. She's a teacher of kindergarten. Today she just want to look attractive and fun. May the kids will love her!

2. Mik on catwalk. Red is the theme and the other colors must be adapted with the point.

3. Mix wearing black on the wedding party! She wants to look impressive with that color and changes people opinion about black as a mourn color.

4. Mik as young bussines woman. She is looking good wearing soft color combined with brown trousers. Stunning!

We all know that Ramadhan has left but believe that the spirit will continue with us. We'll often hear that in fact Ramadhan was a month than we learned about religious in preparation on the next eleven months. The real meaning is when we can apply what we have achieved on the following days. I do agree with previous statement. Although incomplete, I always want to maintain that spirit everyday. Hi readers :)

Almost forget that I've promise story about my Kebaya on previous post.

Well, Gadjah Mada University held graduation ceremony on two days. August 17th 2011 called Hari Pelepasan was held by Major Architecture and Planning. On that day I wore Kebaya who designed by me. Haha! Actually it wasn't purely from me. I did small research before skecth it. It was so fun! I learned about types of material such us kamisol tulang, brokrat, linen, tile and more. I met some designers and discussed with them before decided to designed it by myself. Luckly I knew a reliable tailor who can translated my skecth quite well. It was my first work (as designer of Kebaya of course) and proud to wore it.

I know you guys too bore accept my apologize. Since I passed my final exam, I face a new important activity: prepare for graduation. Hard to be true I have no skill about it moreover when I have to prepare by myself. My parents could only come when the “it” day cause they can’t leave jobs there.

For small share, I’ll wear Kebaya on that day. On past two week, I wasted my time looked for the right design. I’ve been talked with some designers too but still I cant get what I want. Shita, fashion assistant from Mujid Affandi said it was difficult. But, same with us, in fact the clothes are also look for us too. So I’ve more patience.

Forget it a while.

Have you guys listen about Hijabers Community? Nowadays, they opened it on Yogyakarta too. (called Hijabers Community Yogyakarta). On 10^th Jun 2011 ago they held Sunday Fun and small bazaar. I cant participated in pengajian time cause the quota was full. But, bazaar opened for public during that day. So I ran there and took some pics with them.

Assalamualaikum,

Alhamdulilah, akhirnya selesai juga tugas akhir ini. Semuanya tentu saja berkat kebesaran dan izin Nya. Saya selalu menangis terharu kalau mengingat, betapa mulianya Dia ketika membukakan seluruh indera saya untuk menangkap keindahan disekeliling dan kemudian saya transformasikan menjadi desain ini. Allahu Akbar.. Allahu Akbar.

Sesuai janji saya pada postingan sebelum-sebelumnya, saya bersedia curcol sedikit mengenai desain ini.

Graha Meditasi dan Spa

Pendekatan Arsitektur Tradisional Bali pada Perencanaan Program Ruang

Jadi kenapa saya mengangkat tema ini? Karena saya sangat mencintai arsitektur lansekap tapi sudah sangat bosan menggarap resort. Hehe.. yah, saya dapat site ini ketika saya sedang KP di Bali. Aselinya pada site ini akan dibangun Resort Spa, jadi tentu saja dari uji kelayakan sudah lolos karna ini merupakan proyek nyata. Saya langsung jatuh hati pas ngeliat kontur dan kondisi alamnya dan berpikir akan sangat menguntungkan kalau di tanah luas tersebut dibangun pusat pariwisata yang menawarkan fasilitas baru. Jadi fasilitas apakah yang cocok? Awalnya saya kepengen membuat beauty center. Semacam RH clinic atau Larissa atau Natasha. Tapi sepertinya kurang kompleks dan kurang menjual. I mean, secara rasional itu nggak bakal membuat para bule tertarik.

Melalui semedi yang panjang, muncul ide untuk menyatukan konsep healing dan pariwisata. Jadi semacam terapi penyembuhan bagi mereka2 yang stress secara holistik (fisik dan batiniah). Apalagi setelah meriset data, Spa sedang menjadi TT tersendiri di Bali sana.

Ada bahan tentu saja harus ada senjata untuk menjadi barang. Jadi apa senjatanya? Arsitektur Bali di setiap pembentukan program ruang. Mulai dari masterplan hingga bentukan denah massa bangunan. Mulai dari lansekap hingga material yang digunakan pada bangunan.

Dan ini sedikit screenshoot dari hasil keringat saya :)

Well, secara umum ini adalah tema baru yang belum pernah ada ditugas akhir mahasiswa sebelumnya. Silahkan cek diperpus Arsitektur UGM, perancangan yang menyatukan Meditasi dan Spa secara terang-terangan dengan porsi yang sama besar, baru yang saya garap ini. Hehe..

Karena tema baru, tentu saja semuanya serba susah. Mulai dari program ruang, skenario kegiatan sampai harga jual harus saya tentukan sendiri. Untung saya punya sejuta informan ahli yang bersedia diwawancarai. Jadi, walau sampai terakhir, saat saya berdiri di depan ruang sidang dengan kondisi belum pernah Spa dan Meditasi sama sekali, saya tetap percaya saya pasti bisa.

Seperti kata-kata keren berikut:

"Merancang itu nda harus jadi pelaku dulu untuk ndapetin feel nya. Lha, kalau saya harus merancang kamar mayat, masa harus mati dulu? nda to?"

Accompanied Mr. H went to Manding.

Last month he was ordering leather shoes in one shop there. For you who wanna know, Manding is a district in South Yogyakarta where known with leather goods especially related to fashion industry like shoes, bag and etc.

The excess of this place that we can order goods by bringing your own design with affordable price. Handmade shoes as below only idr 300,000.

After that, he asked me to try Sate (satai) Klathak. It made of goat meat that were given only salt flavor. The interesting is they used bike spokes as stick.

Well, I'm so suprised and speechless too. I mean... saya adalah salah satu blogger yang paling tidak rajin menulis. Tapi, teman-teman masih sudi mampir di rumah yang tidak rapi ini. Hiks. Sungguh terharu...

I prefer trousers than skirt, cause I must movin fast and I think trousers can handle it better than skirt.
I love every colours except blue. For me, blue is difficult colour to mix match. I dont know why.

I'm not a glasses person. I wear it just to cover my tired eyes.

Batik on Wedding's Day

That's not 2nd Oct (batik day), but...Yes! I wore batik that day.

I'm a Borneo girl who always wore a shiny color with a lot of beads when I came to wedding party there. But, in Java people always wore batik on that day. Idk why. I just think that batik had enthusiasm and history which made it more valuable and really suit when someone wore batik on that sacred day.

I went with him who wore batik too. But poor, he looked older when he wore it. hahaha. Just guess where's guy who i mean :P

The other fun thing was yesterday as a reunion session! I came and found someone who I adore him so much. He's my favorite teacher and always helped me when I did internship at Bensley Design Studios in Bali last year. Ah yes! This has been a year, but we still keep contact each other until now.

I think I miss him and other guy on that wonderfull studios :'(

What a best life on Sunday? When I met him and we went to shopping together. Actually I did and he just be a stable supporter :D I bought some inner/bandanas at Karita and Popperca. Cant wait to playing with them....

Introducing about Popperca, It's a fashion shop with everything handmade stuffs inside. I was know Popperca a year ago. But I had visited it a week ago and immediately heart their concept's style. Poor me, I really forgot to took some picture when I was there. :( I just can save it.

I woke up in the morning and my Dad invited me to did a tour around the city. Let me introduced first, I born in Balikpapan, and now I have holiday in this town. It's a small city with beautifull ways and skies scenary :D I really love when I impressed to their urban planning. Or when I found some garden around main road. Oh ya, you must try traditional food too. My favorite one is Bubur Ayam Samarinda. :D

Simple Life

One reason why I didn't update my blog yesterday was simple life. My college, University of Gadjah Mada, held a simple life program called KKN (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) for student who passed their 100 SKS (like total credit of semester). I did it with 29 other student and we stayed in Wukirsari Village (I got Dusun Karangasem) for two months.

What I can say to you about simple life is really amazing!! I love everything on that place. I love when we walked together on morning days to cacthed a lot of sunshines scenery. Or when I found a green Jati's trees around way. And a lot of laugh from the people when I said hi to his cow or goat. Or when I saw their best Tatah (chisel) and Sungging's (colour) system process to made a leather craft.

Alter ego is a second self, a second personality or personal within a person, who is often oblivious to the personal's actions. A person with an alter ego is said to lead a double life.

I have one. I call her Ay. She loves everything about fashion, luxury and show on front of everyone about her best mixing dress that day. She picking a lot of make up to compare her best cloth. She is a shopaholic. She getting crazy when walk around on sale product. But she better than Rebecca Bloomwood. She know how to control herself from that bad illusion :)

Ay is the other side of me. She have a more power to bring what actually I want that time to going outside!

i'm a moody person. this mood can be detected by cloth or smile. but smile not always be the rule of my mood. sometimes i have to smile and laugh even i feel sad in my heart. hiks..
now, i have a different solution of my mood especially when anyone can't make me happy again. i call it 'a 4th place' after campus, kost, and burjo *yeah,, i love my 3rd place so much* whohohh..

this place have a lot of book and magazine about design and architecture. both of them are very interesting even the wirelles poor and 'lemod' *what 'lemod' in english?*. i waste my time to read and draw anything. step by step to repair my mood back to basic..
